The Basics of Microdermabrasion
The skin is made up of two layers, the dermis and the epidermis. The epidermis layer is the layer of the skin that is very close to the outside surface of the skin. This is where the dead skin cells are found that contributes to the process of maturity of the skin. The actions done in undergoing neutrogena microdermabrasion takes place in the part of the skin called stratum corneum since the process focuses only on the epidermis part of the skin, and would be very painful and risky if the deeper layers of the skin are touched and treatments like microdermabrasion is done.
