Reading about Daby Nail hardener.

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

I was looking for manicure products last night on line and I was reading that one of them Daby Nail was considered by many customers as the best nail hardener that they had ever used. It said that is formaldehyde free and aslo Toluene-free. I am not sure what that means but it sounds like it is a big deal. The hardener goes to work almost instantly. It said that it helps weak, soft and peeling nails. It will provide a long-lasting shine and protect nail enamel from chipping It contains triple-strength polymers, formulated with calcium and protein, that form a protective shield to increase the thickness of your nail for maximum protection.

Allergies And Vacation

Monday, November 10th, 2008

When you are combating allergies while going on vacation, you can help yourself out by doing just a few things. First, pack yourself a bag of things like nasal sprays and allergy medicine. This solves the problem of trying to find something in some foreign drug store. Second, pack covers for pillows or bring your own pillows with you. When traveling by car, make sure to use the air conditioner and heater, and set the system to re-circulate the air. This way you are not picking up pollen from outside. Travel early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid times like rush hour when air quality is probably the worst.

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Like all forms of cancer, colorectal cancer has the best chance of treatment, if it is diagnosed early. In essence, it is the cancer of the colon and the rectum and its first stage is characterized by the presence of the polyps, which are small tumor type growths that can be found in the rectum or in the colon. Colorectal cancer can be found in people over the age of 50 and in people, who have had a family background of cancer. Hence, if you are in one of these risk groups, it is essential for you to be tested for polyps, so that you can be diagnosed early for proper treatment.

Herbal Remedies For Low Libido

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Herbal remedies for frigidity treatment may include St John’s Wart or Passiflora if depression or anxiety is the underlying factors for low libido.  Other treatment options may include sex therapy or relationship counseling, exploring any underlying medical conditions that may have a side effect causing low libido, vaginal estrogens, and testosterone therapy.  Testosterone therapy has proven to be very effective, and non invasive with very few side effects.  It requires the application of a small skin patch placed on your body, which delivers a small amount of hormone throughout the day.  There is no miracle cure for low libido, it is different for each person experiencing it.  Seeking the help of a health care professional or mental health specialist and discussing what is going on in your life will help them decide which frigidity treatment is right for you.

Some Natural Cures For Acid Reflux

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

(1) Eat small meals — no more voluminous than your fist — and don’t drink any liquids from one hour before the meal to one hour afterwards.

(2) Chew each bite of food well, properly mixing it with saliva before swallowing — the stomach’s muscular reaction to unchewed lumps of food can be full or partial regurgitation.

(3) Refrain from lying down, bending over or wearing tight-fitting clothing for at least an hour after eating a meal.

(4) If you suffer acid reflux at night, elevate the head of the bed four to six inches and never get directly into bed from the dinner table.

(5) Lose weight if you are overweight, and if you smoke, stop smoking.

(6) Keep track of what bothers you and avoid the foods, beverages and medicines that seem to bring on heartburn.

(7) Use antacids infrequently and only for occasional heartburn — they may mask an underlying problem that you should have checked by a doctor or may even cause mild heartburn to worsen.

(8) Chew gum after meals, as this increases the flow of saliva, which helps in reswallowing the esophageal contents without having to ingest new liquid. Green Stamps Mail Order

You may have had heartburn from devouring too many snacks during Super Bowl XXXIII. For some 40 million Americans, heartburn is a daily ordeal. Many heartburn sufferers take nonprescription antacids and try to carry on. But that approach, medical experts say, frequently masks serious gastroesophageal conditions.

The majority of people who have chronic heartburn and treat it with common antacids actually have more than simple heartburn. Some have esophageal cancer, ulcers or some form of erosion in the esophagus.

About half of the 150-plus subjects in a recent study done at the University of Oklahoma, University of Arizona and Glaxo Wellcome in Research Triangle Park, N.C., had damage to the lining of the esophagus due to chronic heartburn. More than 50% had a hiatal hernia.

”Gastrointestinal disorders kill relatively few U.S. citizens,” said Dr. Joel Moller of Highland Park, Ill. ”But they exact a heavy toll in human suffering and economic costs. Heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease cost Americans more than $ 5 billion a year for Natural Cure For Acid Reflux.

”(At my practice), we’re seeing an increasing number of people with esophageal disease,” Moller said. ”Many patients with heartburn symptoms aren’t actually getting to their doctor when they should.”
