Surgical Procedures With Diverticula Issues

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

In simple elective procedures, the surgeon often resects the offending section of colon, makes the anastomosis, and closes. When infection is extensive and drains must be used, colostomy improves the comfort of the patient and enhances quick recovery. A temporary colostomy–usually for 2-3 months, 6 months maximum–is standard. The colostomy is then taken down, and the patient returns to normal function.

Rarely, colostomy following complicated surgery may be permanent, particularly in an elderly patient who has a difficult recovery. Occasionally, a patient prefers to keep the colostomy rather than undergo another surgical procedure in cases of diverticulitis.

Considering Natural Osteoarthritis Relief

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Natural Osteoarthritis Relief.
I’m going to die if I don’t fine some way of easing the pain in my joints.
Some of my friends have hade some success with Natural Cure For Arthritis. I guess it can’t hurt to try something new.
I’ve had too many nightmare experiences with doctors at this point to have any faith in them. I need a different option.
Let me know what you think about all this.

Thoughts On Dental Office Assistant Careers

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Lost my job again. I’ve been thinking of a career change anyway, so it might be for the best. A friend said to check out dental office assistant careers. I’m a bit squeamish, so I’m leery of the idea, but the pay is good and the jobs are stable.
In particular, I’ve been checking out
The Dental Assistant Association. Salaries vary a lot from one office to the next, but there appears to be a shortage, so prospects are good.
I can’t wait to ditch my current boss - so it may be worth it to do the training at night or over the weekend.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.

My Experiences With Dental Assisting

Sunday, July 27th, 2008

My job stinks. I’ve been thinking of making a change - something that won’t require too much school, but is a cut above bartending. I was told to check out dental assisting. I suppose dealing with bad breath and fillings beats getting groped by drunks.
After checking out How To Become A Dental Assistant, I’m interested, I think. Prospects are good right now, despite the crappy economy.
I can’t wait to ditch my current boss - so it may be worth it to do the training at night or over the weekend.
Ok - that’s it for today.
