Cryogenics is one of the more unusual forms of science, and is obviously one of the more unusual types of tatoo removal. In this scenario, a compound similar to dry ice is applied directly to the skin where the tattoo resides. This compound causes the skin to freeze in place, and take on a dry appearance as well as taking away any feeling. The tattoo can then be scraped off the skin one layer at a time. This is similar to how doctors remove warts.
