Colitis

I don’t know about you but I find it confusing as to exactly what I have. Is it Colitis, Crohns, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or Inflammatory Bowel Disease? Then if it is colitis, then is it ulcerative colitis, left sided colitis, Collagenous Colitis or one of the other forms of it such as ischemic or infectious colitis or is it simply gastritis? And perhaps more importantly: how many and what kind of medical tests do I have to take to get an accurate diagnosis of what exactly are these bellyache episodes that strike me seemingly out of nowhere and leave me feeling exhausted?
