The Disadvantages of a Liquid Vitamin Supplement
A liquid vitamin supplement hands down, has properties that help it to be absorbed into the bloodstream much faster than those in solid form. By some estimates, as much as 98% of the nutrients in liquid form are taken in by the human body instead of the 10-20% absorption of vitamins in solid form. However, there are reasons that liquid vitamins are not prescribed more widely by doctors. First is that liquid vitamins become unusable upon contact with stomach acids and cannot therefore be absorbed in the small intestines where nutrient absorption is best. A liquid vitamin supplement can also spoil easily when combined with enzymes.
